Experience: In VLEAD I had the opportunity to discuss and interact with mentors, make frequent presentations and knowledge transfer sessions and now i can confidently say i have understood the entire cycle in the building of software.Overall it was a summer well spent and a great learning experience. Looking forward for my experiment to be hosted and put into use.
In this experiment, user can practice basic concepts of linked list. Experiment is divided into three main modules:singly, doubly and circular linked list. Each module will have image artefacts introducing inked list, then a demo video of interactive artefact and then interactive practice artefact, after that interactive exercise artefact and then theoretical quiz. All modules follow same structure.
Experience: The whole two month internship experience was really nice. I learnt the importance of literate programming and org-mode. I prefected the art of changing UI of the artefacts with the help of automatically generated code. I learnt proeprly converting site into responsive also.
The project I worked upon is Stacks and Queues. I, along with my partner designed artifacts, experiment content and integrated UI to the project.
Experience: Experience was very good as I learned to work with other teams, mentors and also pair programming.
I worked on the project of Hash tables. We started off by developing a narrative, following which we expanded it to create a detailed story-board. We created APIs for the artefacts and rendered the storyboard and the APIs and hosted them on a server.
Experience: At every step, we felt like we can do so much more. This excitement and thrill is exactly what you expect when you think of research! It was really fun working as a team and getting to learn so much from each other.

My project is Quicksort which I have done with my partner Daksh lalwani. We shared our work so that we do equal work. We started with writing exp-cnt and showed to Prof.Venkatesh chopella sir for review. He gave us some inputs. We implemented them in our story-board.I wrote questions for pre-quiz and post-quiz part of the story-board. Then we started working on artifacts and we have done our best for it.
Experience: This is the first time I worked in teams and I enjoyed it a lot. We shared our work and when I am not available he did my work and I did his work when he is bot available. The mentors are amazing as they were telling us what will be better to do when they reviewed our work after completing different stages of our experiment like exp-cnt,story-board,artifacts for our experiment.
The project I worked upon is QuickSort Algorithm. I, along with my team partner, designed the artefacts based upon the story-board and experiment content and integrated UI to the project.
Experience: The experience was fruitful as I learned to work with other teams, all the mentors, co-operating with them and learning new methodologies and refining the concepts which I knew.
I worked on building Infix to Postfix conversion and Postfix evaluation experiment. Worked on the story-board of the experiment which contains the plan and the experiment content. Created Image and Interactive-JS artifacts which are a realization of the elements of the story-board. Created a responsive style-sheet for the header and footer of the experiment.
Experience: Earned the experience of working in a team thereby learning the values of team-spirit. Learnt how to code in literate style and also the processes involving the making of a web-application. Overall it was a wonderful experience, one that shall never be forgotten.
The project that I worked on was the Linked List Experiment. I helped form the build process, worked on A1, A2, UI/UX interaction, quiz and realising artefacts.
Experience: The experience overall was great. It was different from what I expected. I was under the impression that we would be told precisely what to do and we would have to labour away at getting the work done but here, at VLead we got a lot of freedom owing to its "research" aspect. It was amazing to build our own process by thinking rather that just following a routine.
Worked to define the AST for different types of contents to be rendered in the experiment. Built parser, linker and renderer to render the document written by Instructional Designer with the defined grammar. Built scalable APIs using Node.js for the documents and realizations to be stored in the database(MongoDB). Built the UI for the experiments.
Experience: The experience was amazing, learnt a lot about promises in JS, literate programming, working with a team of 20 members, taking everyone's opinion were some of the key parts learning. The mentor was really kind and helpful.
UI and User centric Design for all the experiments such as Image artifacts, Shell designs, and web page. To understand the user it is the big challenge. So I followed the User Experience design process: 1.Empathy (User survey,Desk Research,Exploratory Research,Shadowing ) 2.Define (Affinty Diagram, Conceptual map, Persona, Customer journey map ) 3.Ideate ( Brainstorming, paper prototype,Wireframes, Idea menu ) 4.Prototype (Low fidelity, High fidelity prototype ) 5.Iteration :According to situation need we have to modify the Design By this process I understand the real need of user and according to that I made All the experiments Artifacts Exercise, demo, which was given by mentors.
Experience: It really learn and explore here,I worked with different field expertise and incorporate the suggestion in my design. I worked with SMEs so, for designing the artifacts for exercise or demo, I had to know the theory first So I discussed with them and understood the matter. According to user I Incorporate to design. I learnt new design software tool (sketch), open source tool (Git)
As a UI/UX designer my role was to create a better user friendly virtual labs WEBSITE for IIIT Hyderabad. So i started my work with UX first. First i read the user, then i create some mental model and use case diagram to get the clear idea about what should i put on a website and what should not. Then comes the UI part where i design the website with the help of Elements and Principle of design. How user will perceive, how psychology works, how interaction work with usability all of these things had been a part of my UI design.
Experience: I have no idea how time flies here, Working culture is very nice here, They gave us one room specially to the designer to help our mind to focus better. I love solving problems i sent them regularly my design ideas they regularly gave me feedbacks for improving my design. All of the working staffs are very generous.

We started it as a research work and after few weeks of the internship we worked on polynomial arithmetic using linked lists. It’s a topic from data structures that we dealt about. Building the artifacts in Js was a good experience.
Experience: 9 weeks of my summer internship was really good and there’s so much you can learn from the mentors here in VLEAD.
I worked in the project hashtables to realize a visual tool to teach hashtables. I worked with Debojit on the JS artefacts, detailed documentation and building the other artefacts. I also worked on documenting the catalog services.
Experience: I found real value in the developmental process and the elemental approach to make stand alone elements and then integrate them in the bigger picture to realize the proposed projects.
We collected content for our experiments and refined them to make story board and iterating over it again and again untill desired experiment content was not achieved.we wrote js code for our experiments artifacts and do literate for the same the latter were finally hosted on website
Experience: It is mix of meeting deadlines and sitting idle, frustaing due to doing redundant task in story board and artifacts and satisfaction of completion and final hosting.I learnt quite a lot of things which is good
